Dubbing

In 1994, Eko Sound entered the dubbing industry, and started working with Disney after they were chosen to dub Disney movies into Arabic language in Egyptian dialect, after a competition with another studio located in Lebanon.

The first movie to be dubbed by Eko Sound was Disney’s animated hit The Lion King, which was the second Disney movie to be dubbed in Arabic after Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs that was dubbed in 1975.

And it’s Arabic dub was done with a very high quality that changed the whole standards of the dubbing industry.

The Arabic version of The Lion King was so successfulthat Disney decided to continue with Eko Sound and start a long term dubbing contract to dub the rest of their movies and shows in Arabic.
