composers, and Arabian super stars to record their projects such as Amr Diab, Najwa Karam, Waleed Tawfiq, Elissa, Nawal El Zoghbi, Mohammed Monir, Abdullah Al Rowaished, Haifa Wehbe and many more.

In 1994, Eko Sound entered the dubbing industry, and started working with Disney after they were

chosen to dub Disney movies into Arabic language (in Egyptian dialect),

after a competition with another studio located in Lebanon. The first movie to be dubbed by Eko Sound

was Disney’s animated hit The Lion King, which was the second Disney movie to be dubbed in Arabic after

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs that was dubbed in 1975.

And it’s Arabic dub was done in a high quality that changed the whole standards of the dubbing industry.

The Arabic version of The Lion King was so successful that Disney decided to continue with Eko Sound

and start a long-term dubbing contract to dub the rest of their movies and shows in Arabic.
